Biography:
Ghent has long been a breeding ground for groundbreaking heavy music. From this fertile scene came PREDATORY VOID, formed in 2021 by Lennart Bossu (Amenra, Oathbreaker, Living Gate). What began as his pandemic writing outlet quickly grew into a full band with Lina R. (Cross Bringer) on vocals, Thijs De Cloedt (Cobra The Impaler, ex-Aborted) on guitar, Vincent Verstrepen (Carnation) on drums, and most recently Kris Auman (ENDLINGR) on bass and backing vocals.
Fusing influences from shoegaze, doom, hardcore, post, black and death metal, the band carved out a distinct identity. Their debut Seven Keys To The Discomfort Of Being (2023) revealed a raw yet layered sound, led by Lina’s searing vocals and introspective lyrics.
After its release, PREDATORY VOID hit the stage at Roadburn, Alcatraz, Rock Herk and more, earning a reputation as one of Belgium’s most compelling new heavy acts. On February 6th, 2026, they return with a new EP on Pelagic Records — a sharper, more condensed take on their sound, enriched by Auman’s low-end power and vocal depth.
