Labirinto

Over time, LABIRINTO expanded their presence beyond Brazil, touring across North America and Europe and becoming the first South American band to perform at Dunk!Festival in Belgium. Their early releases, including Anatema, positioned the band within the global post-rock landscape, while later works such as Gehenna and Divino Afflante Spiritu further developed a sound defined by layered textures, controlled dynamics and a focus on atmosphere and emotional weight.

While Divino Afflante Spiritu introduced vocals as a guest element, the band now moves toward a more defined shift in direction. In its current phase, LABIRINTO incorporate vocals as a permanent component, transitioning toward a darker and more aggressive approach aligned with atmospheric black metal, without abandoning their established sense of space, structure and tonal depth.

The first release to reflect this development is a single scheduled for 2026, marking the introduction of a lineup featuring two dedicated vocalists. The track precedes the band’s next full-length album, currently planned for release in 2027 through Dissenso Records in Brazil and Pelagic Records worldwide.

Across two decades of activity, LABIRINTO have maintained a consistent trajectory, gradually redefining their sonic framework while retaining the core elements that have shaped their identity.
