This coffee is grown at elevations of 1.600 – 1.800 meters in Colombia. When dusk comes over the foothills of the andes, the locals take a step in the morning glow… and take a breath of fresh dusk air that smells like this very coffee. Its mildly acidic, nutty aroma is a fine display of the high coffee culture on which Colombia prides itself.
Every Envy song is a juxtaposition of elements which might seem contradicting at a first glance: elegance and rawness, beauty and fury, precipitance and slow pace… it is one of the band’s great and unique achievements to continuously reconcile these elements, in their own idiosyncratic way.
This Indian premium Arabica bean is a perfect match for what can be understood as the body, the substance of every Envy song: sincerity, emotional purity. Reminiscent of milky chocolate and nuts, this is a very placable coffee, without acidity.
20% BREATH
A strong fresh BREATH blows over the heartless base: this rare coffee from Cuba is surprisingly strong for an Arabica, and reverberates infinitely on the palate. You’re not wrong when you sense a hint of a faint new world in the flavour of this coffee: and a note of tobacco, which is grown in the same regions as this intriguing bean.
